The course is divided into two parts. Part One is an ‘Introduction to health and safety at work’ and Part two focuses on ’Workplace specific health and safety’. In accordance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health syllabus, there are five sections in part one and eight sections in part two.
After you have studied the information and content in Part One you will be able to take the Progress Test. The test is multiple choice and consists of 15 questions.
The pass mark is 12 correct answers.
Once you have successfully completed the test you can move to the section content in Part Two.
Within Part Two is a stage test comprising of 15 multiple choice questions. The pass mark is 12 correctly answered questions.
On completion of Part Two you can take the Final Examination.
The final examination has 30 questions. Comprising of a number of questions drawn from both Part One and Part Two of the course.
The passmark for the final test is 25 correct answers.
You can take the tests and the final examination as many times as you like. However, be aware that the Tercet House Ltd software draws questions at random from a large number of available questions.
When you have successfully completed the final examination your Certificate of Achievement will be automatically generated and you can save or print it.
This Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace course will assist, guide and support candidates in developing essential Health and Safety in the Workplace knowledge.
The course is suitable for all employers and employees who need health and safety in the workplace knowledge and certification in order to meet their statutory and safety responsibilities.
